Tellen Announces Successful Completion of 2026 SOC 2 Type II Audit
Tellen, a leading provider of AI infrastructure for accounting firms, today announced that it has successfully completed its 2026 SOC 2 Type II audit, receiving an unqualified opinion from its auditors, Advantage Partners. This marks Tellen’s second consecutive SOC 2 Type II examination and reinforces the company’s continued commitment to data security, confidentiality, and compliance.
The SOC 2 Type II audit is an independent assessment of a service organization’s controls related to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. The most recent audit covered the review period established for the 2025–2026 examination cycle. The unqualified opinion signifies that Tellen’s controls were designed and operating effectively in accordance with the Trust Services Criteria.
“Successfully completing our second SOC 2 Type II audit with an unqualified opinion reflects the operational discipline and security-first mindset embedded across Tellen,” said Deepak Lalit, CEO and Co-founder of Tellen. “Our accounting firm partners can continue to have full confidence that their sensitive firm and client data is handled with the highest standards of protection as they build and scale AI within their practices.”
As firms expand their use of generative AI for audit quality, substantive testing, document analysis, and financial statement preparation, maintaining strong security controls is essential. Tellen’s secure, cloud-based AI platform enables accounting firms to innovate with confidence while protecting sensitive firm and client data.
With this continued SOC 2 Type II attestation, accounting firms can trust that their data remains protected within Tellen’s secure, compliance-aligned environment.
